The Shineolas are a dynamic group of award winning veteran performers, multi instrumentalists and seasoned vocalists. The group combines a dazzling array of captivating musical styles delivered with a funky, rollicking flair that includes great melodies and killer harmonies. Expect lots of catchy original songs and unique remakes of forgotten gems.

The Shineolas music has an eclectic "good-time" feel that combines elements of Texas Swing, Roots, Funk, New Orleans R&B, Country, Blues, Gospel, Folk, Bluegrass and Vintage Jazz. Their high calibre musicianship and combined musical experience offers audiences a listening treat and high energy entertainment.

The Shineola's sound is reminiscent of other artists such as: Lyle Lovett, John Prine, Roger Miller, John Hiatt, Tom Waits and Guy Clark.
The Shineolas are well known throughout Vancouver, BC
and Vancouver Island, BC where they play a wide variety of venues including: festivals, clubs, house concerts, special events, fundraisers and private parties, wakes and divorce settlments!
