Texas Swing, Roots, Funk, New Orleans R&B, Country, Blues, Gospel, Folk, Bluegrass and Vintage Jazz. Their high calibre musicianship and combined musical experience offers audiences a listening treat and high energy entertainment.

The Shineola's sound is reminiscent of other artists such as: Lyle Lovett, John Prine, Roger Miller, John Hiatt, Tom Waits and Guy Clark.

The Shineolas are well known throughout Vancouver, BC
and Vancouver Island, BC where they play a wide variety of venues including: festivals, clubs, house concerts, special events, fundraisers and private parties, wakes and divorce settlments!
